My name is James Beaumont, I'm 27 years old. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease at the young age of six & have battled this unpredictable illness ever since.
"Being isn't always a bad thing"
Crohn'sDisease is a mostly invisible illness which makes it difficult for people to understand the pain and daily challenges it can bring. I launched Instacrohns in February 2016 when I was dealing with a very bad flare. I wanted to create a space for people from all around the world who could connect with others and share support. Since then, this unique network of inspiring people has gone global, attracting an ever-growing audience! My main aim is to provide the support in which I always wanted, support which can help bring people together and provide important awareness.
WINNER OF THE O2 BEST LEVEL 2 PROJECT
After being funded by the Think Big project, Instacrohns received an award for the way it was created, implemented and how it has had such a positive impact in communities globally.
INTERNET SOCIETY 25 UNDER 25 AWARDEE
Instacrohns is now recognized with the Internet Society for the work we do in providing support over the internet and social media.
To secure the future of Instacrohns we are looking to receive donations which will be used to continue the running of this website & run bigger, better events across the UK. Funds received through our online store will also be used to provide better services to our community.
